Dena Reichert - President    Email 

As Steven's wife and mother of his only child Allyn and stepdaughter Nicole, she to was confronted with the horrible loss and vacancies that the death of Steven left her and her children. Upon Steven's death, many mourners left cash donations for his widow and children. This generosity was so great and completely unexpected that she choose to take the donations and begin the Steven W. Reichert Memorial Foundation.  With the assistance of the Board Members, and the initial donations the Foundation was born.   

      Dena is the acting President of the Foundation and is responsible for all facets of the organization. She is the owner of An Affair to Remember - Events by Dena where she runs a Event Planning and Marketing business. Dena remarried in 2005 to a wonderful man Timothy Krenzien who owns and operates a Travel Agency namely, Paul Klein Travel. Dena is the mother of two, Nicole 26 who currently resides in Kirkland, Seattle with her husband Ryan Sullivan and Allyn 14 who resides with her mom and stepfather in Frankfort, Illinois.

    In her spare time she travels around the world, golfs, gardens loves crossword puzzles, and watching Ally swim and compete with her water polo team. She has become her children's biggest fan.

 Art Reichert - Vice President of Operations     Email

          Art is Steven's cousin and was one of his closest friends.    Art is a father of two, Blake (10) and Kennedi (9).  Art is the Operations Manager  of TTS Granite in Steger, Illinois.    When Art is not hard at work or spending time with his family and his sweetie Sheri he can find him on a golf course. 

         His goal with the foundation is to raise awareness of fund raising activities that will benefit different communities, charities and families in need which will make a positive impact on people's lives. Art fills the Vice-President seat on the Board of Directors and is the leader of the pack for our annual golf outing.  What a surprise!

 Gerry Reichert - Treasurer     Email

           Gerry Reichert a.k.a. Bubbles as Steven like to call his mom, resides in Crete, Illinois with her husband Bill.  Gerry is the Vice President of Steven W. Reichert Homes located in Beecher, Illinois and is also the Queen of decorating.  When Gerry is not decoration models or getting frustrated with computers at work you can find her in her garden or should we say gardens.  Most people don't even have one let alone half a dozen or more. Who can keep up with her?  Gerry also likes vacationing in Florida with friends and spending lots of time with her granddaughter Allyn. Gerry serves as the Treasurer for the Foundation and keeps all us on our toes.  Gerry is the one who dots the i's and crosses the t's, if you know what I mean.

  William Reichert - Director     Email

        As Steven's father, Bill taught his only son, at an early age, the art of home building.  Bill began and has owned his Building Company, named Steven W. Reichert Homes, Ltd., since 1975.  Steven literally grew up building homes with his father.  Steven has always been Bill's pride and joy and his most valuable piece of architecture.  Upon the death of his only child, Bill made a promise to himself that he would do good by Steven and all that he accomplished in his short life.  Bill confronted the worst tragedy a parent could experience and created a Foundation that would help others who are experiencing their own tragedies, in his son's honor. 

        Bill is one of the Directors of the Steven W. Reichert Memorial Foundation and has been married to Gerry Reichert for over 35 years.  He enjoys spending time with his granddaughters Allyn and Nicole, golfing, and vacationing in Florida with friends and family.

  Walter Burrell - Director     Email

          Burr, as Steven called him, was one of Steven¹s closest friends since they met in college at Southern Illinois University.  After graduation, Steven and Burr remained close friends.  Burr is the co-owner of California Closets located in Lombard, Illinois, he and his wife Angelique reside in Naperville with their 9 year old daughter Hayden and 7 year old son Chase.  Burr is also Allyn¹s (Steven¹s daughter) godfather. 

Burr one of our largest supporters.  He and his wife have attended every function since its inception and have volunteered time and money to help in the causes we take on.

  Georgette Seehausen - Secretary     Email

    Georgette Seehausen is Steven's aunt, but she will tell you that he was more like a little brother to her.  They spent most of their childhood growing up together and he became a very special person in her life.  She will always treasure the many years of memories.  Georgette feels it is an honor to be a member of the Steven Reichert Foundation because it gives her an opportunity to reach out to the community and help people in need.  She also feels that supporting other organizations that have similar interests will make a positive impact on the lives of many. Georgette resides in Crete with her husband Don and their three children, Chase age 17, Paige and Carly (twins) age 14. She works at ³The Edge² which is a non for profit community coffeehouse and also works at Steven Reichert Homes. She also helps her husband, Don, manage Crete Marketplace L.L.C., a real estate investment company that they own.  She enjoys reading, attending her children¹s various sporting events. working out  and decorating.

 Jon Mutter - Member     Email

           Jon has been one of Steven’s closest friends since childhood where they both attended Crete Elementary, Hubbard Trail and Crete Monee High School together. They played little league together and shared dozens of other childhood memories. Jon resides in Frankfort with his wife Lisa, and two boys Joshua and Jared. Jon enjoys all sports- especially baseball and football, attending many games with his family.  Jon works in the HVAC & Plumbing industry and is currently Plumbing Manager with ARS of Illinois. Jon is currently an active Board member with both the Frankfort Square Baseball League and the Frankfort Square Wildcats Football Organization. When Jon is not volunteering or coaching his boys’ sports activities, he enjoys spending time with his family or friends, traveling and rooting for the White Sox.
